Silverstone Technology Cluster (STC) and its members will have an increased presence at the forthcoming Advanced Engineering Show at the NEC Birmingham (30-31 October 2019).

Supported by founding member Silverstone Park, the STC will again host the event’s popular VIP Lounge.

In addition and adjacent to the VIP Lounge, the STC will have a new ‘Innovation Zone’ where seven member businesses will showcase their latest technologies.

These will include: Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Symetri, Sandwell, Thermal Issues, Voxeljet, University of Birmingham and Silverstone Composites.

It is also expected that some members will make presentations as part of the show’s timetable of specialist group forums.

STC CEO Pim van Baarsen commented, “We are very happy to be putting our name to the VIP Lounge for a third consecutive year – this is the place at the show for professionals to network with our members and hear how they are benefiting from what the STC is achieving across a wide variety of technology sectors as well as with industry at large including neighbouring clusters and government.

“Our increased presence also gives members added value as they demonstrate their abilities to a captive audience and senior level management of like-minded businesses.”

“The feedback has been positive – members again see us responding to their requirements and some others have already committed to doing something similar with us at the Show in 2020.”
