Brazilian leader in the manufacture of composite tanks and special equipment for the sugar and alcohol sector, Tecniplas will return to the 27th International Bioenergy Show, Fenasucro & Agrocana, from the 20th to the 23rd August 2019.
In this year’s edition of the Latin American sugar and alcohol trade fair, the company’s goal is to reinforce the dissemination of its vinasse cooling towers.
“Over the past twenty-five years, we have supplied more than 600 units of this equipment to mills across the country,” said Luís Gustavo Rossi, Tecniplas Director. To be used as fertiliser, the vinasse must have its temperature reduced, on average, from 90 °C to 55 °C.
Manufactured in one piece, eliminating the occurrence of leaks, Tecniplas’s vinasse cooling towers rely on the mechanical assembly installed outside the saturated corrosive airflow. “In addition to extending component life, this design feature facilitates access for maintenance.”
Another advantage of the equipment is the direct and lamination fixation of the diffuser, the distribution system and the beams in the tower housing, which makes the equipment much more robust. “The distribution of the hot vinasse is made by a vinyl ester resin-based FRP pipe, that is, it has high chemical and temperature resistance”.
In conjunction with the vinasse cooling towers, Tecniplas also manufactures alcohol recoverers, sugar beaters, tanks, pipes and connections.
